PreInstall is needed. You need to follow the instructions in the Readme file to get started. This document will walk you through ReadMe Step 6 so you know your awmEStore is working and then setting up your eBookWholesaler books!
Step 1 tells you if you have setup config.php correctly to install the program. If not, please review your config.php file and make sure you set this to your database. You MUST have the database created and must have assigned the user to it. If you do not know how to do this, contact your host for assistance. It is required that you see this screen to continue!

Step 2 lets you specify your domain name and the installation folder. The script should determine these automatically but you can change them if they are incorrect. If you install to http://www.yourdomain.com/estore/ then the domain name is yourdomain.com and the Install Directory is estore.

Step 3 creates the database tables. There should be 7 created. If not, there should be an error message telling you to contact me for help. Please contact me using the contact button at http://www.awmestore.com if you have any problems!

Step 4 is very similar to Step 3, except it is populating your database with 4 different things so it works better right away. Again, please contact me if you have trouble or don't get all 4 done correctly.

Step 5 is just giving you information that you are ready to go! You need to delete install.php from your server so nobody can undo your changes and gain admin access to your awmEstore. Once you do that, you can click on the link to go into your awmEstore Admin Panel.

Step 6 is inside your working awmEstore Admin Panel. This is where you can set the name of your store, what payment processors you want to use, change the password, and more. Please review all these options carefully. If you have already installed and want to get back to this page, please go to http://www.yourdomain.com/estore/admin/ and then login (default password is just "password" without the quotes) and go to "Setup/Misc" >> "Configuration/Setup" to access these settings at any time!
Step 7 is saving the changes you've made in Step 6. Remember to click the Submit button to save your changes on this page! After you click "Submit" it will say "Success!" like this image and that means you can save information to your awmEstore so you know it's working right! CONGRATULATIONS! You can return to Config/Setup or use the menu to go elsewhere!

Step 8 is for members of eBookWholesaler (eBW). If you are a member of eBW you'll want to setup your eBW books right away. To do this, go to "Addins" >> "eBookWholesaler" and you should see a screen like this.

If you do not see a screen like this, then you need to go to http://www.awmestore.com/estore/updates to download the latest minisites. You will need to download all the minisites of the eBW books you want to sell, but by downloading the latest you will get a file called ebw.php. Put this file, ebw.php, into your main install directory (http://www.yourdomain.com/estore/) and then refresh the "Addins" >> "eBookWholesaler" page and you should see it like this image now.
Once you see a screen like this, click on the "Reset All Products" link and then "Yes" to confirm. This will install all the most recent eBW books. You can then click "Goto Product Admin" to view all the books installed and you are ready to go once all your BRANDED ebooks have been uploaded into the "/downloads" directory as per the next Step.
Step 9 requires you to go back to http://www.awmestore.com/estore/updates to download all the minisites and then upload them onto your website. As it says there, put the minisite folder directly into the estore folder, so if the minisite is called "acne" the folder would be http://www.yourdomain.com/estore/acne/ for example. You will also need to customize the PDFs in the eBookWholesaler member's area and then upload them to http://www.yourdomain.com/estore/downloads/
Step 10 setup your Payment Processor. PayPal is the easiest as in the Admin, you simply go to "Payment Processors" >> "PayPal" and enter your PayPal address. 2CO is almost just as easy but asks for a few more details. ClickBank is a bit more advanced and there are ClickBank instructions in "Payment Processors" >> "ClickBank" you can review.
Step 11 is to view your eStore. You should be able to see your awmEstore filled with eBooks by clicking the "View" button in the menu! If you want to look at the advanced things you can do are to review your downloads and setup categories. There is help for category setup at the forum.
